Women's Empowerment Circles are as natural as breathing, feeding our babies, and believing peace is possible. It's what we women do---or more accurately, what we want to do. If only we knew how to create a safe and clear "container" for our sharing and to hold the space for one another to share and be deeply heard. If only we could just let down and be for a couple of hours, with no demands on us.
That's what the Hawaii Women's Circle is all about.
Initially, it is about learning to hold the vision and intention of a council circle, a women's circle, a conscious communication circle. Then, it is about upholding this sacred space with the highest level of kindness, clarity and authentic Presence.
The Women’s Circle welcomes all women from all walks of life, all spiritual paths, all persuasions and with the common agreement that we are accepting and embracing of diversity. This is a forum for authentic, non-judgmental and enlivening sharing in community. Please understand that it is NOT intended to be a forum for debate, advertising, business networking, preaching, fundraising or gossip. This is a forum for women seeking to live empowered lives which are of positive benefit to themselves and all those they touch. We see one another as strong, capable, beautiful and unique, worthy of respect, celebration and honor. The Women’s Circles will not include children, but we will strive to support one another in being loving mothers with caring support systems. There will be a simple group structure to ensure that everyone can share. Gatherings will be co-led and held regularly throughout the island of Hawaii for and by women of each region.
